ENERGY POLICY ACT of 2005 The bill known as the Energy Policy Act of 2005 is set to take effect on October 1, 2005. The bill provides a rebate program managed by the Department of Energy that will cover 25% up to $3,000 of a consumer's expenses purchasing and installing renewable energy systems!
